1. General / Scope
1.1. Software & Support Media GmbH, Schwedlerstraße 8, 60314 Frankfurt am Main (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer” or “we”) is the organizer of the camp, training event, or in-house training (hereinafter referred to as the “Event”), which focuses on technical and methodological concepts that are of great importance for success on the web today and is aimed at companies and freelancers. Subject to section 6.3, the event takes place as a hybrid conference, i.e., both on-site and online. The applicable hygiene concept for on-site participation can be found at: entwickler-konferenz.de/sicherheitshinweise.
1.2. These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) apply to all business relationships between the Organizer and you (“Customer”) in connection with participation in the event and the purchase of tickets (“Tickets”).
1.3. The purchase of tickets for participation in the event is carried out exclusively on the basis of these GTC. By purchasing a ticket via www.entwickler-konferenz.de, the Customer accepts these GTC.
1.4. These GTC apply only if the Customer is an entrepreneur (§ 14 German Civil Code), a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law.
1.5. Booking tickets and participation in the event is only permitted for persons of legal age and with full legal capacity.
2. Content and Services / Conclusion of Contract
2.1. The Organizer’s offers are subject to change and non-binding.
2.2. The event description on the website does not constitute a binding offer but serves as an invitation to submit an offer to purchase a ticket. By clicking the “Buy Tickets” button, the Customer submits a binding offer.
2.3. After placing an order, the Customer receives an order confirmation by email, which does not yet constitute acceptance. Acceptance occurs through a separate order confirmation email containing the contract details.
2.4. If the order confirmation contains errors or pricing inaccuracies due to technical issues, we reserve the right to contest. Payments already made will be refunded immediately.
2.5. The contract text is not stored by us.
2.6. Program changes may occur. These do not entitle the Customer to withdraw unless the essential nature of the event changes significantly.
2.7. Tickets are personal and non-transferable unless otherwise stated. Resale or transfer is prohibited.
2.8. The Organizer may cancel an order if the Customer violates specific conditions communicated during pre-sale.
3. Price, Discounts, and Payment
3.1. Ticket prices are fixed prices plus VAT. Additional costs (e.g., service or shipping fees) are clearly displayed before purchase.
3.2. When booking via third-party ticket providers, additional fees may apply.
3.3. Any foreign transaction fees must be borne by the Customer.
3.4. Payment is due immediately upon receipt of the order confirmation.
3.5. In case of failed direct debit, the Customer must cover resulting costs.
3.6. Discounts may require proof (e.g., student ID).
3.7. The Organizer may define discount conditions and limits at its discretion.
4. Credit Card Payment
Payments are processed via Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Additional personal data may be collected under their policies.
5. Delivery, Loss, and Complaints
5.1. Tickets are sent after payment to the provided address/email.
5.2. Customers must check tickets immediately upon receipt.
6. Cancellation, Rescheduling, Refunds
6.1. Cancellations are possible until the specified deadline with a €150 + VAT fee.
6.2. Events may be rescheduled for valid reasons. Tickets remain valid.
6.3. Events may be held online only.
6.4. Valid reasons include force majeure.
6.5. Refunds are processed within 14 days.
6.6. Minimum participant requirement: 25.
6.7. Program changes are permitted.
7. Force Majeure
The Organizer is released from obligations in cases of force majeure.
8. Photo and Video Recording
8.1. Recordings are made for documentation and marketing.
8.2. The Customer agrees to their use without limitation.
8.3. Recordings may be archived.
9. Online Participation
9.1. Participation may be on-site or online.
9.2. Minimum technical requirements apply: here.
10. Liability
10.1. Liability only for intent or gross negligence.
10.2. Exceptions apply for guarantees or product liability.
10.3. Applies also to agents.
11. Final Provisions
11.1. Invalid provisions do not affect the rest.
11.2. Changes require text form.
11.3. German law applies (excluding CISG).
11.4. Jurisdiction: Frankfurt am Main.
11.5. No advertising distribution allowed at the event.
