Eines der Produkte der IBExpert KG ist IBExpert, eine professionelle Integrated Development Environment (IDE) für die Entwicklung und Administration von InterBase- und Firebird-Datenbanken. Rüdiger Kügler WIBU Systems
Seine ersten Schritte in der Softwareentwicklung machte Rüdiger Kügler 1988 während seines Physik Studiums in FORTRAN, C und Assembler. Nach dem Studium arbeitete er als Projektleiter in verschiedenen Multimedia Projekten und entdeckte seine Liebe zu Borland Delphi. 1996, als viele Entwickler Java nur als Getränk kannten, ließ er schon Werbebanner als Applets über Webseiten fliegen. Fertige Hacks und Cheats aus dem Internet zu laden, lehnt er konsequent ab, "Wenn dann muss man selbst drauf kommen.", so sein Motto. .NET sieht Rüdiger Kügler als die konsequente Weiterentwicklung der VCL. Er findet es nur schade, dass man sich zum Reverse Engineering nicht mehr durch Assembler Code kämpfen muss und Hacking damit quasi für jedermann zugänglich ist. Seit 2003 arbeitet als Security Expert für WIBU-SYSTEMS und berät Softwarehersteller bei der Implementierung von Kopierschutz und Maßnahmen gegen Reverse Engineering.
