Writing FAST Delphi programs (Part 1)
This talk deals with the various ways we can make Delphi programs perform better. It opens with the general question of what a “performance” actually is and then looks into different approaches to speed up the code – changing algorithms, optimizing the code, dealing with memory manager and parallelizing the program.
Ideally, this would be a two-session talk. I did it before in one session and the quality suffers. There’s just too much information to convey.
