Auch wenn der eine oder andere die Wörter Verantwortung und Nachhaltigkeit (von Klimawandel ganz zu schweigen) in diesem Wahljahr nicht mehr hören mag, so gehören sie trotzdem auf die Agenda. Vielleicht auch gerade deshalb, weil nur hören eben nicht reicht, weil "weiter so" keine Option ist. Vor sechs Jahren haben die Vereinten Nationen 17 Nachhaltigkeitsziele verabschiedet, was sind das für Ziele und was haben die mit uns zu tun? Was für Nachhaltigkeitsinitiativen haben beispielsweise die großen IT Konzerne gestartet? Was heißt denn überhaupt Nachhaltigkeit und was bedeutet Verantwortung? Kann man überhaupt "nachhaltig" programmieren oder nachhaltige Software schreiben? Wie werde ich oder wie wird meine Firma nachhaltiger? Lassen Sie uns einen Bogen schlagen von Politik und Philosophie bis zur Programmiersprache, einen Bogen mit Interessantem, mit Bedenkenswertem, mit Denkanstößen und auch mit einer Prise Humor, der ohne How-dare-you auskommt

With many possible approaches to mobile development, the main trend at the moment seems to be the declarative one. Popular frameworks like Google Flutter and Apple Swift UI boosted the adoption of a (relatively) new programming approach to app development. Delphi has always let you decide how to balance RAD versus declarative approach and this makes no exception when it comes to mobile development.

In this workshop we’ll see how to mix RAD and declarative approach to develop easy to maintain applications, keeping at bay development effort without giving up to customization where needed.

Windows (11) mit Delphi

Auch wenn wir jetzt inzwischen seit Jahren für Windows 10 entwickeln, so ist dieses System ein recht bewegliches Ziel. Microsoft ändert APIs und Strategien und Delphi bietet natürlich auch regelmäßig neue Features. Wie beweglich dieses Ziel tatsächlich noch ist, hat das aktuelle Jahr deutlich gezeigt. Microsoft bringt ein neues Windows 11 auf den Markt und Embarcadero reagiert mit einem RAD Studio in Version 11. In der Session verschaffen wir uns wie ursprünglich im Frühjahr geplant einen Überblick über alte Bekannte wie die klassischen Win-API und Desktop-Applikationen ebenso wie über WinRT, die universelle Windowsplattform UWP oder das ganz aktuelle Reunion-Project von Microsoft, reservieren aber genügend Zeit um aus Delphi Sicht auf das neue Windows 11 zu schauen und zu besprechen welche Änderungen für uns als Entwickler wichtig sind.

Microsoft Project Reunion is promising a new foundation in terms of Windows platform APIs. Reunion offers new options to mix the classic Windows API and the modern WinRT platform and opens up new opportunities to developers using native compilers like Delphi.
