This session will delve into the structure of Palm applications and show how they are written. It will cover: structure of a Palm application, forms, controls and event handling, Palm databases and data access techniques, how to debug, test and deploy Palm applications.
It will include information on the lastest OS6 additions to the PalmOS.
This session would cover some of the more advanced topics needed to write real world PalmOS applications: dealing with different OS versions, responding to other launch codes than the normal application start, database sorting and filtering, communicating with other devices, dealing with multiple screen resolutions, writing custom UI controls, accessing the built-in databases.
This session assumes that we will be able to write CF applications in Delphi by conference time.
