WS1 ASP.NET Web Forms with C#Builder Bob Swart (Bob Swart Training & Consultancy)This session covers ASP.NET web form development using C# on the command-line as well as Borland's C#Builder IDE.
We start by building simple ASP.NET web forms using HTML and Web asp:controls and C# event handlers, and then move on to some more advanced topics with automatic state management, Code Behind and deployment.
WS2 Delphi/C++Builder and XSLT Bob Swart (Bob Swart Training & Consultancy)XSLT stands for EXtensible Stylesheet Language (XSL) Template, and is generally used to transform an XML document to another XML document (for example a HTML compliant XML document). This session gives an introduction to the basic capabilities of XSLT, as well as the reasons why XSLT can be beneficial to Delphi/C++Builder or Kylix developers.

WS4 Working with XML in Java Neal Ford (The DSW Group, Ltd.)This session provides an overview of several important XML topics and some of the more popular API’s and techniques developed to work with XML in Java. I cover the SAX and DOM APIs, XSLT transformations, JDOM, and DTD/XMLSchema. Throughout the session, I also provide very short primers on the related XML technology that I am talking about.
WS5 Web Services in Delphi Terry Dietzler (The DSW Group)This session will begin with an overview of Web Services and their potential in the future of computing. It will then look at how to locate and take advantage of existing Web Services created by other vendors. During this will be discussion of the importance and use of WSDL documents.
The next portion of the session will demonstrate how to create your own Web Services and then how to publish them
WS6 Working XML in Delphi, C++Builder & Kylix Michael Li (InfoCan Management)XML is rapidly becoming the industry-preferred choice of data representation and is the core technology behind distributed computing initiative like SOAP. Delphi 7 ships with a ton of tools and native XML support. This session is aimed at those who are new to XML and are looking to incorporate XML technologies into their development work with Delphi, C++Builder or Kylix.
WS7 Borland Janeva - .NET-Integration für J2EE und CORBA Tobias Fischer (Borland GmbH)Die neueste Integrationslösung Janeva von Borland zeigt, dass die Verwendung des OMG-Protokolls IIOP für .NET sehr viele Vorteile gegenüber anderen Ansätzen wie etwa Web Services oder Bridges besitzt.
Mit verschiedenen Programmierbeispielen, die mit Microsoft Visual Studio .NET und Borland C#Builder umgesetzt werden, wird dargestellt, welche Möglichkeiten Janeva für den .NET-Entwickler bietet, eine J2EE- oder CORBA-Anwendung zu integrieren. Das Besondere an dieser Technologie ist, dass mit Janeva ein .NET-Programmierer keinen J2EE- oder CORBA-Code verwenden muss, sondern lediglich die Microsoft .NET Remoting API.
